About Naïf Only the best natural ingredients are good enough for babies. That is exactly what Jochem Hes and Sjoerd Trompetter thought when they became dads in 2013. A whole new world opened up to them but they also found out that even baby care products contain harmful ingredients. That can’t be a good idea. So Naïf was born: a natural skincare brand for babies and children, without all the nonsense. Build on the belief that families should not have to worry about the ingredients in their personal care products. But, kids grow up… so a line was created for women. A complete skincare line with natural care products, without chemical clutter, that every woman needs in her daily beauty routine.
Naïf makes great personal care products that are kind to everybody and nature. They do what they promise; they nourish, clean and let you shine. The products are 100% vegan and made from natural ingredients such as flaxseed oil, avocado oil and lycosol (tomato extract). Naïf takes sustainability seriously, therefore the products packed in sugarcane bioplastic tubes. The products do not contain mineral oils, chemical preservation or harsh chemicals and are free from microplastics.
Over the past 5 years, Naïf has built a strong base of loyal fans from all over the world. The products are sold online and in drugstores (Etos, Holland&Barret), pharmacies, department stores and boutiques in more than 10 countries in Europe and Asia. Naïf has ambitious plans for growth within the Benelux and Europe with a clear focus on online sales and marketing.

Before founding Naif in 2014 with Jochem Hes, Sjoerd Trompetter started his career in the Chemical Industry and later transitioned into Private Equity. Sjoerd holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering from RU Groningen and an MBA from INSEAD business school in France. Sjoerd (40) lives in Scheveningen (NL) is married and is the father of 2 sons.
